Holocaust Memorial day 2017

We were tasked by the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) to raise awareness of Holocaust Memorial Day on Friday 27th January 2017.

We had access to Holocaust survivors and their stories from the Holocaust, as well as several spokespeople from HET, including CEO Karen Pollock.

We shaped our broadcast news advisory around the survivors’ stories, offering national and regional broadcasting outlets the opportunity to interview the survivors on their poignant personal experiences. This came under HET’s intention that the campaign should highlight the importance of remembering the Holocaust and educating younger generations on its historical significance.

The campaign secured standout coverage across national and regional outlets both on radio and TV. We secured television coverage on Sky News Sunrise, BBC West Midlands Today, BBC South, BBC London TV, London Live and Forces TV. On radio we secured national coverage with BBC Radio 5 Live and 13 regional BBC stations. We also delivered a further 12 regional radio interviews.

In total we secured 30 pieces of coverage with a weekly reach of over 13 million.
