Australian Trade Minister Tempts Brits Abroad


Our brief was to generate coverage around the Australian government’s Working Holiday Visa scheme, which was changing to make it easier for young people to travel there. We commissioned research to compliment the campaign’s core message; we proved that half of young people in Britain would consider working abroad after the vote for Brexit.


The two themes meant we had a powerful story that led to substantial interest from high profile national media outlets. The Australian Trade Minister appeared on

Good Morning Britain; the interview featured a graphics sequence that covered all the core messages.


We secured a 20 minute interview for the Minister on the Jeremy Vine show on BBC Radio 2 - the UK’s most listened to radio news show. We also landed an interviews on BBC Radio Scotland, Jazz FM and Sky News Radio, all of which secured substantial national coverage.


In total we reached more than 200 radio stations with an audience reach of more than 60 million people, and securing six and a half hours of coverage.
