Launch of the New ford fiesta

We were tasked by TrustFord to create a broadcast campaign around the time of the launch of the new Ford Fiesta. The intention behind the campaign was to encourage people to think about visiting their local TrustFord dealership to purchase their new car.

Ford Fiestas are well known as a perfect car for a first time buyers so we came up with a story around our first cars and what we loved about them. We commissioned research to explore what people named their first cars, the music they played and the accessories they added to their first cars to make them their own. 

We used DJ and former ‘Pimp my ride’ presenter, Tim Westwood, as our spokesperson during broadcast interviews to discuss the research findings and add his own whimsical anecdotes to the story.

The campaign secured national coverage through a live interview on Channel 5 News, a 5 News Facebook live session and BBC Asian Network plus a mix of BBC regional radio stations. Total potential number of audience reach was over 4,400,000.
